Parks & Recreation

  • Park Hours: 5:00 am to 10:00 pm, daily

    This park is jointly owned between the cities of Spring Lake Park and Mounds View

  • Pets are allowed in all City parks, but pet owners must follow City Ordinance 92.01(A1) Pets, which outlines the responsibility of pet owners to keep theirs pets on a leash and in control at all time and to pick up waste. 

    Ordinance 92.01(A1) Pets: No person shall allow an animal to run at large within the city. (A3) Animals may be allowed off their premises as long as they are on a leash.  (E) No person shall allow an animal under his or her control to defecate in city parks or public land without picking it up and disposing of it in a sanitary manner.

  • Spring Lake Park - Parks & Recreation has a tobacco-free (cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, vapes, e-cigarettes, etc.) policy on all Spring Lake Park - Parks & Recreation property.

    No person shall consume or possess intoxicating beverages or 3.2% malt liquor in any city park, theater, recreation hall or center, dance hall, ball park, or other place of public gathering for the purpose of entertainment, amusement, or playing of games, unless specifically approved by the City Council.  This prohibition shall include parking areas connected with any of the above referenced areas.
