Adopt-A-Flower Garden

Why adopt?

The goal of the project is to provide adopters with an active role in the community by maintaining and improving the City’s park flower gardens, as well as providing a way to grow pride in the community. Volunteers are a vital part of our program and do make a difference.

Gardens are adopted for one year. Each year adopters from previous years will be invited to continue their adoption with the same garden before making it available to adopt.

Anyone 18 years or older is eligible to adopt a garden; residents, nonresidents, individuals, groups and clubs, organizations, businesses, etc. Individual who are younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  People who are interested in adopting a garden must fill out the application form provided. Trash bags and tools provided.
