Frequently Asked Questions

Spring Lake Park Recreation Department follows the recommendation of the CDC, MDH, the venue we are visiting, and the country we are visiting.

Masks and proof of vaccinations may be required at all theater/music venues in the Twin Cities area.

People are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2 - dose series or 2 weeks after a single vaccine

We regularly monitor all recommendations and required and will inform participants of any changes

To register for an Extended Tour, you must pay a deposit of $100.00 with cash or check.  Extended Tour credit card payments will incur an additional $3.00 or 2.65% transaction fee, whichever is greater.  For Extended Tours, your name will be added to the roster once we receive your $100 deposit. For Day Trips, payment is due 72 within hours of registration. For Day Trips, we accept cash, check or credit.  When registering by mail, please completely fill out the registration form and mail it along with your check.

Tours with outside agencies require deposit when registering.  Deposits start at $600.00.

For most extended tours, the balance is typically due 45 days prior to the tour’s departure. Please check the posted brochure for the final payment date for each trip.

Up until the tour registration deadline, Spring Lake Park will offer full refunds for extended tours, if you choose to cancel. It is recommended you purchase optional Travel Insurance coverage to assist in situations extending beyond the registration deadline.

Optional Travel Insurance (from an outside vendor) is available and encouraged.  Spring Lake Park staff are happy to answer questions and assist our customers with Travel Insurance options. We have used Travel Insured International in the past, 1.800.243.3174 and mention our Agency number 46142.

For Tours scheduled with outside Travel Group ie Collette, those tour companies offer their own travel insurance and should be purchased at time of reservation.
