Forms can either be emailed to cwaddell@slpmn.org or dropped off at the Parks & Recreation Department at SLP City Hall.

Trusted Coaches - Background Check, Concussion Education, & Child Safety Training

~~IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ~~

Follow the steps below to register in Trusted Coaches:

- Click here to be brought to the Trusted Coaches page (www.trustedcoaches.org)
- Log in or Register an account
- Go to your Dashboard and click the "Claim a Role/Join a Season" button
- Use the information below to access our league:
- ~ State: Minnesota
- ~ Organization: Spring Lake Park - Park and Rec
- ~ Season Name: 2025 Youth Softball & Tball Leagues
- ~ Season Access Key: SLP2025
- ~ Role: Select either "Head Coach" or "Assistant Coach"

*Background Check - complete once per year
**Concussion Education - complete once every 3 years
***Child Safety Training (Head Coaches Only) - complete once every 2 years

Volunteer Coach Refund Eligibility

Volunteer coaches may be eligible to receive a 50% refund of their child’s registration fee.

Criteria

- Must complete all required volunteer coaching forms & certifications
- Must attend the pre-season coaches meeting (in-person or virtually)
- Child must complete the entirety of the softball season (i.e. if you decide to drop out partway through the season, will no longer be eligible)
- Must be present for at least 75% of games

Once all criteria have been met, refund will be processed.

A maximum of three coaches per team will receive this refund.
