Tour Highlights 

• Day 1
  Our adventure to Lincoln, Nebraska begins! While the Cornhusker State might not be the first place that comes to mind for an epic getaway, it’s brimming with hidden gems—and we’re uncovering them all. Along the way, we’ll enjoy plenty of comfort stops (no road trip is complete without snacks!) including a must-taste detour in Iowa for their famous caramel rolls.

  We’ll take in the breathtaking Holy Family Shrine, where a gentle stream winds from the visitor center to the striking glass chapel—an architectural masterpiece.

  Once in Lincoln, we’ll kick off our experience with a tour of the Nebraska State Capitol, where ornate tiles, soaring views, and dazzling chandeliers await. The afternoon brings a perfect pairing: a sip-and-stitch stop at a local winery and a visit to the world-renowned International Quilt Museum.

  Day 3
  Get ready for a day packed with intrigue, history, and hands-on exploration. We’ll step into the shadowy world of outlaws during a captivating Robber’s Cave tour, then journey back in time at the Kregel Windmill Museum. Lunch awaits among the scenic charm of Arbor Day Farm.

  This afternoon, we’ll wander the vibrant Haymarket District—full of shops, stories, and surprises. We’ll round out the day with a lively local performance that’s sure to be a highlight of the trip.

  Day 4
  Creativity takes center stage today! We’ll raise a glass with a special Lincoln-themed surprise sip before diving into the rich tapestry of local history. Expect stories, discoveries, and inspiration at every turn.

  Day 5
  With hearts full and cameras packed with memories, we say farewell to Lincoln and begin our journey back to SLP. Along the way, we’ll make a few final pit stops—because the best adventures never end abruptly.

Tour Details

The tour cost includes all hotel accommodations, luggage handling for one bag, deluxe motor coach transportation, 9 meals and the services of a professional Spring Lake Park Recreation Tour Manager. It also covers all tours, admissions, and tickets as outlined in the tour brochure. 5 day / 4 nights

Cancellation Policy

Trips are fully refundable by the Spring Lake Park & Recreation Dept up to the trip’s registration deadline. Deadline: July 20, 2026. After this deadline participants should refer to their optional travel protection plan.
