Gun Permits

Permits to purchase firearms and permits to carry them in public are two separate applications. Permits to purchase firearms for Spring Lake Park residents can be obtained at the Police Department. Permits to carry firearms are processed through the County Sheriff’s Department in which you live. Please contact them directly for additional information.

Effective March 2, 2015, we will only accept the “Permit to Purchase” form with the revision date of January, 2024.
