We’re looking for positive and enthusiastic people from all backgrounds and levels of experience to monitor our Able Park ice rink and warming shelter.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for their first job.
No experience required!
Warming House Attendants work from late December – mid February
Hours include weekday evenings, weekends, and school release days (3-4 hours shifts).
Work anywhere from 3 to 15 hours per week!
Job Summary
In this job you will:
- Interact in a positive and professional manner with the public.
- Opens and closes the warming house at scheduled time.
- Supervises the use of the warming house and ice rinks and enforces safety regulations.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records regarding usage, weather, and rink conditions.
- Oversees the ice rink and warming house and ensures a safe, friendly, and enjoyable atmosphere for the public.
- Performs other related duties as required (i.e., shovel snow from rinks, sidewalks, clean warming house).

Qualifications
What is needed to apply for this job?
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be able to to lift/pull/push/move/carry up to 50 lbs, bend/stand/reach.

- Warming House Open Dates (weather permitting)
- late December 2024 - mid February 2025
- Standard Hours
- Thursdays & Fridays: 4:00 - 8:00pm
- Saturdays: Noon - 8:00pm
- Sundays: Noon - 6:00pm
- Winter Break Extended Hours (Thursday, Dec 26 - Tuesday, Dec 31)
- Noon - 8:00pm
